David Mejia
CEO & Founder
David Mejia is the founder and CEO of Thrust Aviation. He brings more than 25 years in private aviation leadership across charter, aircraft management, and global sourcing, and he is an active Gulfstream Captain, type-rated in the GIV and GV.
Before founding Thrust Aviation, David held executive roles at several of the most respected private aviation firms in the United States, advancing from broker to Vice President of Charter Sales and overseeing more than $100 million in annual charter revenue. His experience spans charter sales strategy, global aircraft sourcing, aircraft acquisitions, and operational execution for private clients.
What sets Thrust Aviation apart begins with David. The combination of cockpit insight and boardroom experience shapes how every trip is sourced, vetted, and flown. Behind him is a team of seasoned aviation professionals and an in-house 24/7 flight support desk with licensed dispatchers handling crew, permits, runway slots, catering, and real-time flight coordination.
